How We Meet
We met at Dallas County High School. We didn't really know each other back then but when the homecoming dance came around, I overheard Bryan and his friend arguing about the dance. Just a few feet away me and Brianna Joiner overheard Bryan and his friend conversation and Brianna said,"why don't you just ask him to the hoco dance?" I asked him to go to the dance with me and he said, yes. Later that day at lunch my friend group pressured me into asking him out. He said he needed time to think about it. The next day I received a text. He texted me yes and said he will be my boyfriend. I found out I was pregnant 8 months into the relationship. He moved in about two months before our son was born. We became parents on December 31, 2020. The next year, in November & December 2021, I wasn't home. I was two hours away from Bryan. We would face time a lot, one day he texted me an emoji of a ring. He said he was ready to spend the rest of his life with me.
