Question

What if I cannot attend the cruise wedding?

Answer

Answer

The cruise line has a specific cancellation policy, which you can review on their official website. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard your trip against unforeseen circumstances. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/booking-cancellation-refund-policy

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage everyone to arrive in Port Canaveral the day before embarkation to avoid any travel complications. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11 a.m. at CocoCay. Travel arrangements from the pier to the wedding location will be provided in your stateroom on the day of embarkation.

Question

How do I reserve my stateroom and confirm my travel party?

Answer

To reserve your stateroom and for any additional cruise details, please contact our destination wedding planner, Laurie Playford, at laurie@lizmooreweddings.com.

Question

What is the cost to attend?

Answer

Each guest is responsible for their own travel and accommodations. A variety of staterooms are available, with prices ranging from $1,500 to $2,500. Please note that staterooms accommodate multiple guests, and the listed prices are based on double occupancy. Your Royal Caribbean cruise fare includes: Stateroom accommodations Ocean transportation Most meals (buffet and main dining) Many beverages (water and basic coffee/tea) Extensive entertainment options (shows, pools, activities like rock climbing and FlowRider) Kids' clubs Additional costs apply for specialty dining, alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, and shore excursions. Mandatory taxes, fees, and port expenses are included in the advertised price. The cruise offers a payment plan, so you won't need to pay the full amount upfront. For any further questions regarding costs, please reach out to Laurie Playford, laurie@lizmooreweddings.com, our wedding planner, who will be happy to assist you.

Question

Do I need a passport to attend the wedding?

Answer

Guests who are not residents from the United States will need a valid passport to attend the wedding, as the ship will be departing from the United States. Residents of the United States do not require a passport but having one is always recommended for ease of travel. Please check the expiration date on your passport. If it expires within six months of the wedding date, we recommend renewing it as soon as possible to avoid any travel issues. Processing times for passport renewals can vary, so plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to the restrictions set by Royal Caribbean, we can only accommodate individuals listed in the RSVP section of our website. When you’re prepared, please enter your name in the RSVP area, and if you received a plus one, it will be noted there. If you would like to invite someone to accompany you, they are welcome to stay in your stateroom; however, please be aware that they will not be part of the wedding events. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I participate in excursions during the cruise?

After the ceremony, feel free to enjoy the island and all it has to offer. Nassau, Bahamas: Guests can either schedule excursions or explore the shops around the port at their leisure. Whether you prefer adventure, relaxation, or exploring local culture, there are plenty of options available at each port of call.

Question

What should I pack for the trip?

Question

Gratuities and tipping on board?

We encourage guests to add prepaid gratuities to their reservation when booking with our wedding planner, Laurie Playford. Additional tipping is not required, but if guests wish to leave extra gratuities for dining room or stateroom staff, this can be done on the last day at Guest Services.

Question

Royal Caribbean Cruise App

Answer

Once you've booked your cruise stateroom with Laurie, we encourage our guests to download the Royal Caribbean app on your cell phone and/or tablet. The app allows you to check your cruise balance, book excursions, and reserve specialty dining and beverage packages, among other features. Additionally, once on board, you'll be able to chat with fellow cruisers via the Royal Caribbean app for free!
