FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brooke Catherine Wrage and Christian Michael Prim
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional: We invite our guests to dress for an elegant evening. Gentlemen may wear a suit or tuxedo, and ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns.

Question

Can i bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one has been included, both names will appear on your invitation, and under the RSVP on the website. We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your invitation.

Question

What if i don't rsvp in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP before August 15th, you will be marked as "not attending." We will miss celebrating with you, but we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should i arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 1:30pm for the 2:00pm ceremony. This allows time to park, find your seat, and settle in before things begin.

Question

Is there transportation for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided between St. Ambrose and the Hotel Fort Des Moines. The two locations are conveniently located approximately half a mile apart, making it a quick walk or drive.

Question

Where should i park for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may use the free parking lot on the north side of the cathedral, accessible from 6th Avenue.

Question

Where should i park for the reception?

Answer

Guests may park in the Nationwide Parking Garage at 1100 Walnut Street for $10 per day, or valet parking is available at the hotel entrance for an additional fee.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love and adore your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event, with the exception of a few children participating in the ceremony. We appreciate your making prior arrangements so that you can celebrate with us.

Question

Where do i send gifts?

Answer

Please reach out to Brooke or Christian for the address. We are so grateful for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
