What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony time to ensure you're seated and ready for the festivities!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is coastal formal attire. For women, long dresses in bright, summer colors encouraged. For men, suits (tie optional). We can't wait to see you all dressed up!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, they'll be listed on your RSVP. We wish we could invite everyone!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We've reserved rooms at Oaks on the River Boutique Hotel. You can book with our special rate using the link on the "Travel" page.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are planning to have a shuttle that will pick up guests at Oaks on the River Hotel (hotel block is linked under "Travel" tab) and multiple smaller vehicles available towards the end of the night to bring people back. Ubers and Lyfts may be limited in this area since they come from larger neighboring cities. May be best to schedule them ahead of time. Also, anyone is welcome to drive to the event and leave their cars there overnight if needed.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Brunswick Golden Isles Airport, about 25 minutes from the venue and 15 minutes from Darien. The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and Jacksonville International Airport are also great options! They are both around 1 hour from Darien.

What's the weather like this time of year?

Typically, it's sunny and warm, so dress accordingly and check the forecast closer to the day. Bug spray and sunscreen may also be needed!

We have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our immediate family members.
