We met at Vandy, and although we lived in the same freshman dorm and surely crossed paths, our story didn't truly start there. It was sophomore year at Gulf Shores during Fall Break of 2018 (as all great love stories begin) that Brooke first noticed the sweet boy in a frat house who would one day become her husband. Throughout the year, she quietly admired Will from afar while her friends lovingly teased her about her not-so-secret crush. Will was oblivious, and so we required some matchmaking help from our friends Caroline (Bridesmaid) and Kurt (Best Man). Fast forward past a triple-date game night, a few date parties, and our first real date at Jeni's, and we were both completely smitten. But it was only when the world shut down in the Spring of 2020 and Brooke was sent home from studying abroad that we made it official. The rest, as they say, is history. In the past five and a half years, we've navigated long distance, faced the demands of medical school, celebrated joyful milestones like family weddings and welcoming a new niece, and overall weathered life's ups and downs side by side. Now we're thrilled to begin our next chapter together as we graduate from medical school, start residency in pediatrics and anesthesiology, and most importantly, become husband and wife!
