What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Dressy & Comfortable We’d love for everyone to dress up and celebrate with us in style! Think cocktail or semi-formal attire — dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or dressy separates are all great. That said, we want you to feel comfortable and be yourself. A few helpful notes: Please no flip-flops, jeans, or overly casual attire. If you’re unsure, it’s better to be a little overdressed — we promise you won’t regret it! We can’t wait to see you looking your best (and feeling your best) on our special day!

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No; the ceremony is at Ocean View Methodist Church and the reception is at 801 Ocean Event Center! They are only a few blocks from each other :)

Are there hotel blocks or recommendations nearby?

Answer

There aren't any hotel blocks reserved BUT there are hotel recommendations listed in the 'travel' section of this website!

Question

Is there transportation provided between venues/hotels?

Answer

No; transportation will not be provided but most of the hotels recommended are within 10-15 minutes from the church and venue!

Where should I park? Is parking available on-site?

Answer

The church has a parking lot available for our use and nearby street parking, if needed. The venue is on the beach-- Oak Island parking attendants will not monitor the area during our reception times so feel free to park in any 'paid parking' spot nearby.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Please do not bring a plus-one unless we have notated it on your invitation. The reception will be catered with a specific amount of seating. Thanks!

You can expect warm, sunny, and slightly windy spring weather. Highs average in the low 70s°.
