Brooke and Trevor met at the University of Alabama their freshman year of college. Brooke and her friend Haley were in Spanish 101 with Trevor's friend Jimmy. For a few months, Jimmy continued to tell Trevor he had to meet "this girl from Spanish". It wasn’t until Lambda Chi Luau, that Brooke and Trevor finally crossed paths. Summer 2010, Brooke and her childhood friend Lauren decided to meet Trevor and his friends (Kyle and Daniel) down in Orange Beach, Al to celebrate the Fourth of July. After a night of dancing and fireworks at Pirates Cove, Trevor asked Brooke to be his girlfriend. They were finally "FBO". The next 9 years are history. From band parties, sorority formals, graduation, careers, and of course Alabama football, Brooke and Trevor cannot wait until July 4th, (10 years later to the date) to once again make it official.

The past several years Brooke and Trevor's families have celebrated the Christmas Holiday together. Christmas 2018, Brooke's parents decided to spend the Christmas holidays in Paducah, Kentucky, where her grandparents and relatives live. Brooke was born in Kentucky and spent every summer here as a child. Brooke and Trevor agreed that she would spend Christmas with her family, and he would stay in Birmingham with his parents. Christmas morning, Brooke called Trevor feeling a little down and wishing he was there, but still happy to be with her family, and wished him Merry Christmas. Little did she know he was on a flight from Birmingham to Nashville. As Christmas day went on, Brooke spent the day learning family recipes and cooking with Gran. Later that day, Brooke's father called everyone into the living room. As tears filled his eyes, he spoke to the family telling them how special it was to be in Kentucky with them all, and how new traditions over the years have formed, however there was just one person missing. After leaving Birmingham at 4 am for his journey to Paducah, in walks Trevor. After 8 years of dating, Trevor asked Brooke for FOREVER in front of all of her loved ones in her grandparents home. The home that she has made so many precious memories. This one, for sure, was the most special memory of all.
