Brooke grew up in Mason, Ohio, while Sam grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their paths crossed in August 2019 at a friend’s party at the University of Cincinnati, where they were both students. What began as an easy friendship quickly turned into something more, and before long, the two realized they had found something truly special and began dating. Not long after, COVID changed everything. For nearly two years, Brooke and Sam navigated a “short-distance” relationship, but the miles only strengthened their bond. Sam never missed a chance to make the drive to see Brooke, proving time and time again that she was worth every effort. In July 2023, Sam made the move to Cincinnati full-time, starting a new job and a new chapter together. Around the same time, Brooke began her teaching career, knowing she wanted to stay close to home in Mason. After 5½ years of love, laughter, and patience, Sam finally popped the question—much to Brooke’s excitement! He planned the perfect proposal following a concert by their favorite artist, making the moment even more unforgettable. Brooke and Sam are beyond excited for this next chapter of their lives and cannot wait to be surrounded by friends and family as they celebrate their love and the journey that brought them here.
