The Wedding Website of Brooke Fisher and Nicholas Calandros
Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us. We love them very much and our day will be much more special with them all playing a role in it.

Josie Fisher

Maid of Honor

As we know, Josie is one of my wonderful sisters. She has been my partner in crime our entire lives. We were born only 16 months apart and truly haven't really known life without the other. We have grown up doing everything together, being dressed up in matching outfits, playing sports, being in the band, playing instruments, growing up in church and learning to sing together, going to college and rooming together, studying music education together, living in our first apartment together, etc. We've truly experienced it all. I've been truly honored and blessed to have her at my side every step of the way. As her older sister, it has been a joy to watch her talent and confidence grow as a musician, educator, and woman. She is an amazing person, friend, and sister. Now, I am happy to say she has also kindly agreed to be my Maid of Honor.

Heather Fisher

Bridesmaid

Heather is my other wonderful sister. Josie and I have always looked up to her since we were babies. She has always been the coolest, funniest, and most fashionable of the three of us. We share so many hilarious and ridiculous memories of our family, of which I will cherish forever. Her opinion means the world to me, and I've always wanted to impress her since I was little. Her love for animals, especially pugs, holds no bounds. It also highly influenced my agreement with Nick to finally get our pug, Teddy. Heather and I share a lot of the same interests--podcasts (especially those about history and true crime), world history, pop culture, fashion, jewelry, etc. I love her dearly and like to brag that she's my relative. She has always been an awesome big sister and a great friend, which is why I'm elated she agreed to be one of my bridesmaids.

Kayla Jackson

Bridesmaid

Kayla and I became close friends in middle school. We played sports together and were in the band together. We used to pass notes to each other throughout the school day to keep each other entertained and updated on the hottest gossip and drama. Kayla was always one of my closest confidants. She was one of the lucky friends that had to cart me around everywhere because I still hadn't gotten my license. She was always there for me. When we went off to college, we didn't get to see each other but once or twice a year. When her and Jay got engaged, she asked me to be one of her bridesmaids, and I was honored. It was a beautiful ceremony and I'm so thankful they asked me to be a part of it. During the wedding festivities, I got to catch up with Nick, who I truly hadn't seen since we graduated. We hit it off from there and have been together ever since. So, thank you Kayla and Jay!!! We are forever indebted to you both. Thank you for agreeing to be one of my bridesmaids on our special day, making it all come full circle. You and JoAnn have been so generous and helpful with everything you have done for this wedding. We are so appreciative!!!

Jaden Rhea

Bridesmaid

Jaden and I have known each other since we were babies. Jaden's PawPaw used to take she and I to preschool together, where we would fight over who would get to hold his binoculars sitting on the dashboard. Jaden and I grew up sharing a love for many of the same things such as film, tv, and pop culture. When I grew tired of ragging on Josie, she would take over for me or they would gang up together and outwit and destroy me. She has dealt with our lunacy and heard or experienced so many wild stories from us and our family. We share an obscene amount of inside jokes and memories. She and I also share many of the same neuroses, which we have bonded over in our adult years. Jaden is another friend who has always been there for me. She is one of those friends who I don't get to see very often, but when we do get together, its like we haven't missed a beat. I love and trust her immensely and am so thankful for our long-lasting friendship. I am so pleased to say that she agreed to be one of my bridesmaids and for that, I am so appreciative.

Courtney Gorman

Bridesmaid

Courtney was my first friend at my first teaching job back in 2017. I was overwhelmed and extremely stressed and anxious. She saw this in me and instantly took me under her wing. She was tremendously kind, helpful, and understanding. We would eat lunch together every day and talk about our lives. This is where we truly bonded. Courtney and I have been inseparable ever since. The students used to always get us confused and/or think we were sisters, and we would even add fuel to the fire with Twin Day at school and by joking back with the kids. She is a soul sister of mine and we share so many memories and interests. She loves all the same Marvel and Star Wars characters as me, is just as obsessed with The Royal Family, and we share a love for unique/quirky fashion. I have always been able to rely on her and her family for anything. She is a true and loyal friend and I am so thankful for her and that she agreed to be one of my bridesmaids.

Bailey Calandros Vance

Bridesmaid

Bailey is Nick's younger sister and my soon to be Sister-In-Law. I have known her since she was a baby and Nick and I were little. Nick has always delighted in joking around with her and giving her a hard time. While she has always had a sharp wit to (deservedly) put him back in his place. I have always loved her sense of effortless style and beautiful hair. From the very first moment Nick and I got together, she was so welcoming and kind to me. She has always been so supportive of us and made me feel like a member of their family from the very start. I am so lucky to know that I am gaining a wonderful Sister-In-Law of whom I will always be able to trust and confide. So, I wanted to have her be a part of our special day as a thank you for all her graciousness. I am thrilled to say she kindly agreed to be a bridesmaid for me and I am so grateful to her.

Jeffery Fisher

Father of the Bride

The man, the myth, the legend--Jeffery Steven Fisher. There is so much I could say, but I'll try to keep it brief. My father is my hero and the hardest working man I know. He sacrificed every day for his family, and my sisters and I never had to want for anything. I like to annoy everyone in the family and say that I look just like him. If we can get Dad to laugh and tell stories from his childhood, we feel an immense sense of accomplishment and joy. Dad has been close friends with both Michael (Nick's father) and George (Nick's uncle) since they were growing up, and the stories they've been willing to share are golden! Because of this bond, Nick and I have been in each other's lives from the start. To see my Dad cut loose and dance is a rare but amazing sight, and fingers crossed that we'll see it at our wedding too! :) Nick asked my father for his blessing to marry me in March of 2023, and Dad benevolently granted it. Now, he will be fulfilling my dream of walking me down the aisle and giving me away to my best friend.
