Passports

Please make sure you have a valid passport. Below is the link to apply or renew a US passport. Currently, routine processing is 10 to 13 weeks and expedited processing (for an additional $60) is 7 to 9 weeks. This applies to both new and renewal applications. It is advised to apply at least 4-6months before planned travel as there may be delays. Travel is recommended for guests into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) one to two days in advance of the wedding to allow for the possibility of any international delays.

We recommend staying in the charming neighborhood of Trastevere if you can. Known for its colorful cobblestone streets, lively piazzas, and authentic Roman spirit, this area is one of the most special parts of the city. You’ll find some of the best restaurants, cafés, and hidden gems just steps away. Plus, it’s only a quick 7-minute ride from our villa, making it the perfect home base for the wedding weekend.

If you are traveling with a group, it can be more cost-effective (and fun!) to rent an apartment or villa through Airbnb or Vrbo. Trastevere and the surrounding neighborhoods are full of beautiful homes and spacious apartments!
