There's really nothing like summertime in Chicago - and it started on what seemed like your typical Saturday night. Brooke was out enjoying the Taste of River North with some girlfriends, where upon it's completion, she saw a snapback hat sitting on a table that she decided to put on. She continued the night in Wicker Park where little did she know, at the same time, Mike was also out with his boys. They both made their way to a bar called 'Shambles.' Mike says he first saw Brooke walking down the stairs, in the hat, and couldn't look away. He wanted to talk to her. He was too shy to make the first move, so one of his friends introduced them and they danced the night away. Mike took Brooke's number and they had their first real date a few nights later at a place called Devon's seafood. The rest is history, Brooke and Mike knew they found their match. And though that bar 'Shambles' no longer exists as it once was, it will forever hold a place in Brooke and Mike's hearts.
