Things to note: we found that selecting multiple days in the cabins had greatly reduced the price rather than one night in the cabins or one night in the suites that are a 1 bed room option. The Stanley Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, sitting high on the estate as an incredible historical building. We had toured the hotel, gone to events at it, and communicated with the staff regarding stay options. We found this to be a stiff premium option and we did not arrange a block discount rate. Very interesting side note, many believe it’s fame comes from the filming of a movie at the Stanley called “The Shinning” horror film produced by Steven King, turns out not even one second was filmed at the hotel, instead, Steven King had stayed at the hotel gaining inspiration for the film itself! We don’t want anyone to be disappointed by staying at this location with expectation of its fiction!
