A girl from the city in CA and a boy from the country in LA - what are the chances? Brooke and Laine first met working on the set of Aint Them Bodies Saints, a movie filming in Shreveport, LA. Though later they'd learn that thier paths had crossed many times, both in Los Angles AND in Louisiana, this is really where they became friends for the first time. Working together every day for several months, they had so much fun and grew closer together than they thought they would. When the movie was over, Laine went back to Marksville and Brooke went all the way back home to California, but they never lost touch. Somewhere over the course of the next year, the occasional text and hello turned into weekly updates, then daily texts, and before they knew it, they were talking on the phone for 8+hours every day! There was so much they had in common and no amount of time ever seemed enough- they really were two peas in a pod! After several months of the non stop talking & texting (and with the help of some friendly nudging) they both admitted they had “feelings”and wanted to see each other again! So Laine flew out to CA and spent two weeks with Brooke and her family/friends, road tripping up and down the coast and becoming “official” as a couple. Soon it was time for Laine to go, but only 2 short months later they decided the distance was too far- so Laine moved out to CA to be with Brooke! And the rest they say, is history! There have been a fair amount of moves and memories done then, and never has a day gone by in the last 5 years that they haven't seen each other, or spoken in some way. When you know you've found the one, you just know! These two are the real deal. Best friends, and soon to be husband and wife.
