Brooke and Kevin met at Attleboro High School in 2006 after Brooke signed up for Winter Track & Field to meet Kevin. The kids even went to prom together.

In 2012, Kevin took a drive north to meet Brooke in her favorite place. They let themselves fall in love.

Our first home together... Boston and JP treated us well. We'd catch games at Fenway and TD Garden. We ate at so many good restaurants. We went to concerts. We would take off to hike in New England or hit the beach in our free time. Occasionally, we'd catch a flight from Logan somewhere new. We built a lot of beautiful memories together in these years as we grew as individuals and a couple.

After a few days camping on the river and enjoying the 4th, we went hiking. We hiked Mount Pierce on July 6. Brooke had her jets on - as much as she can - thinking today is the day. It was a great hike, but when we got to the top we were in a big cloud. We met this cute little boy that hiked the entire AT (we saw that he finished on the news at a later date). Anyway, this summit and weather condition was not to Kevin's liking, so we carried on down the trail. The next day we set off on a new trail, Bridal Veil Falls. Brooke was sore from Pierce, but felt well, today must be the day. And it was! We had the falls to ourselves on a really beautiful day. Kevin popped the question and had some bubbles in his backpack. It was just lovely. A family eventually came up on the falls and were so excited to celebrate and take some photos for us. We skipped back down.

We are so grateful to have bought a home where it all started. We have a kitten, Cucumber, and, well, this might be the best chapter yet...
