“We’re getting married!”

She insisted on paying (and Venmoed him afterward) because it was not a date. After that day, they started spending more one‑on‑one time together, and the semester was shortly over. After a few trips back and forth from NJ to PA, Keefer asked Brooke to be his girlfriend on July 1. On Labor Day weekend 2025, Keefer, Brooke, and his family hiked up to Chimney Rock. This is where Keefer proposed. The rest is history.
