so, where is 'the barn'?

Answer

Located ~30miles northeast of Chattanooga, Tennessee, The Barn at Drewia Hill is situated atop a hill overlooking the rolling green countryside in the small town of Sale Creek. The Airbnb we are staying in (& also the site for the continued celebration) is located in Decatur, TN, which is roughly 30minutes northeast of the Barn. For reference, the hotels we reserved room blocks for are less than 5 miles from the venue --the Sleep Inn & Suites is an 8-minute drive to The Barn, while the Holiday Inn Express is a 7-minute drive. 'The Night Before' at Monkey Town Brewing is a 5-10 minute drive from either of the hotels.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do. But we want our wedding night to be your night off! Kids are welcomed and encouraged at both the 'Night Before' and 'The Celebration Continues'.

what's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Casual. Our ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. The Barn is situated in rural Tennessee on rolling farmland. Leave behind the ball gowns and tuxedos -- we want you to feel comfortable.

Are there any pre-wedding or post-wedding activitieses planned?

Answer

1000%. We feel one night is enough time to spend with our loved ones. Family and friends are what's most important to us which is why we will be hosting both pre and post wedding festivities. See the 'Schedule' page for further details.

Is There transportation to and from the hotels to the service?

Answer

Absolutely! We want everyone to have fun, but to do so responsibly - PLEASE do not drink and drive. Ubers/taxis are limited in our small-town area, so we've hired a shuttle service to transport everyone safely to/from the ceremony. The shuttle will be running every half hour from our venue to the both the Sleep Inn & Holiday Inn Express.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. If you choose to drive, there is ample parking onsite, next to the barn. Keep in mind, our venue is located in the rolling hills of Tennessee - the roads are winding and there is minimal lighting, so please take your time around the turns.
