Our Story
Josh and I's story began in August of 2018, when we met as sophomores at UNL. We met in math class—two people unaware of the journey they would eventually share. What started as an instant friendship soon grew into something special. Through shared classes, long “study sessions” in the library, and endless laughter, we found a connection that felt effortless and real.
After graduation, life took us in different directions. I returned home to Kansas City to begin sonography school, while Josh stayed in Omaha to continue his journey toward becoming a doctor. Even with the miles between us, we never lost touch. Then, God brought us together again when Josh moved to Kansas City for medical school, and it felt as if no time had passed at all.
One fall evening in 2024, with the help of some friends, we finally admitted what we had both felt for so long—it was time to give our relationship a chance. And since that night, it has truly been the best decision of our lives.
