What is the deal with visas in this country?

(For Australian Guests) Most Australian guests travelling to the U.S. for the wedding will not need a traditional visa, but there are a few important things to be aware of when planning your trip. Australians can typically travel to the U.S. for tourism under the Visa Waiver Program, which requires an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) rather than a visa. ESTA must be applied for online before travel!! It is usually approved quickly but should be completed at least a few weeks in advance. ESTA allows stays of up to 90 days.
