FAQs

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by April 30, 2026, so we can finalize our vendors and confirm the number of guests. Please visit the RSVP tab on our website to respond.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by April 30, you will be marked as not attending. We would truly love to celebrate with you, but we must provide an exact guest count to our vendors.

Question

What if I RSVP'D and can't make it?

Answer

If you have RSVP’d and are no longer able to attend, you will be truly missed. We understand that life happens — please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible that you will no longer be in attendance.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive about 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 4:00 pm to get settled and find your seat.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation included a guest, we’d love for them to join! Otherwise, we’re keeping things intimate to celebrate with our closest family and friends.

Question

Are children welcome at the ceremony?

Answer

If your child was included on your invitation, they are absolutely welcome! However, to help maintain a meaningful and uninterrupted ceremony, we kindly ask that if your child becomes fussy, you step out briefly until they are settled. We appreciate your help in keeping the ceremony distraction-free and encourage you to have a plan in place just in case.

Question

Will children need to be supervised during the event?

Answer

Yes. For the safety and security of all guests, children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times throughout the event. Once the bonfire is lit, we ask that parents be especially attentive. Children should not be running around the property, near the fire, or in unsupervised areas. Safety is a top priority, and we appreciate everyone helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is Cocktail Attire—Dressy, elevated looks are encouraged. Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, and polished suits or dress shirts are ideal for the occasion. Our wedding will take place in a backyard with gravel paths and outdoor seating. We recommend comfortable shoes and attire that works well for an outdoor celebration. Please keep in mind that weather conditions may affect the grounds. If it rains, areas may become muddy or uneven, so we highly recommend avoiding stilettos or shoes that may be difficult to walk in outdoors.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will primarily be held outdoors, weather permitting, so please plan accordingly! In the event of rain, the ceremony will still take place at the same location, but we will move indoors.

Question

I have dietary restrictions. What is the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride or groom with any allergies, dietary preferences, or special accommodations—we’ll make sure your needs are taken care of.

Question

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! We love photos. We just ask that everyone stays unplugged during the ceremony — no phones or cameras, please. For the rest of the night, feel free to snap and share! Use our wedding hashtag #sealthedill so we can see them too.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! We’ll be providing a selection of alcohol for the night, including a few premade cocktails, beer, and a make-your-own drink bar. Everything will be self-serve, and we won’t have a formal bartender. To help stock the bar, we’re hosting a Stock the Bar event on May 9 at Lansing Farm, and we’d love your support if you’re able to join! See the Schedule page for more information.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be signage upon arrival directing you where to park.

Question

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

Our grand exit will be at 11:00 p.m., which will also conclude the evening festivities.

Question

Can I leave cars overnight?

Answer

Yes! You are more than welcome to leave vehicles overnight if needed. However, all vehicles must be picked up by 9:00 a.m. the following morning.

Question

I have a question I can’t find the answer to. What’s the best way to contact you?

Answer

You can reach us directly anytime—just send us a text! Since this is an intimate celebration, everyone should already have our numbers. On the day of the event, we’ll also have a wedding coordinator available for any last-minute questions or needs.
