We met on Facebook dating and messaged back and forth for about a month before we decided to go on our first date. We met at Papas and Beer for dinner and then went to an arcade. Jamie officially asked me to be his girlfriend on New Year's Day 2021.

For our one year anniversary I wanted to get professional pictures made. After convincing Jamie, we decided to have them taken on January 8th at Falls Park. Unbeknownst to me, Jamie talked to our photographer and told her he wanted to propose during the photoshoot. They decided to have Jamie propose at the beginning of the shoot. The photographer told us she wanted me to stand with my back to Jamie and he would run up and grab me from behind. Instead of grabbing me, Jamie called my name and when I turned around, he was down on one knee. Afterwards, Jamie surprised me by having our families join us at the restaurant where we were having dinner.
