It all started at The Funky Door restaurant in Lubbock, TX on September 15th, 2020. Brooke and her parents made a reservation to celebrate her 21st birthday, but little did she know, it would be the start of a beautiful love story. Jake was their server that evening, and he made it unforgettable! His friendly conversation and warm smile caught Brooke's eye. As the dinner came to a close, Brooke’s mom — the matchmaker — encouraged her to leave Jake her number. But, in true mom fashion, she ended up writing it down for her instead. That small gesture sparked something neither of them expected. Jake messaged Brooke when he got off work that night, and from that day on, they've been inseparable and their love has only gotten stronger.
