We're getting married!

Jake's plan worked out perfectly. The Hoople's were visiting Maine in May 2021 and we were at one of our favorite places, Mackworth Island in Falmouth Maine. Jake flew Julia (Brooke's best friend) out to Maine to surprise her when he proposed. The proposal was surrounded by family, friends, and a lot of love.

Jake and I met our last semester in College at Husson University in Bangor, Maine. We became best friends immediately and have been best friends ever since. Our family has grown over the last few years. We have two golden doodles, Sawyer and Bailey and they make our house feel complete. Colorado holds a special place in our hearts and we are so excited to take our next step in life there with our closest family and friends. This year in 2022 we have been together for five years!! Time really flies by and we are so excited to finally take this next step together and share it with all of you!

Jake works as an Orthopedic and Trauma Medical Sales Consultant for Johnson and Johnson in the Southern Maine area. Jake is a rare commodity and loves his job. He does have a life outside of work! When we aren't spending time with our friends, he is playing golf or spending time out side with the girls (Sawyer and Bailey). Brooke works as a Nurse at MidCoast Hospital in the Ambulatory Care Unit which is an outpatient & Day surgery unit in the hospital. Brooke has met really amazing friends through work and when she's not at work she is spending time with those friends or spending time at home with her girls. We do find time to spend together outside our busy careers. We value spending time with people we care about and make it a point when we take time off to visit with family and friends. In 2019 we bought a house in Topsham, Maine and a lot of our time goes to taking care of our home and making it our favorite place to spend time together!
