Jacob and Brooke had their first date at the Starbucks on Grogans Mill near Jacob’s old apartment. Brooke was still in college at the time so she drove up to the Woodlands to meet him after work. They sat there for hours talking and laughing about everything❤️

On July 1st, 2024, Brooke’s mom found a kitten in the road trying to make it up onto the curb but he was far too little. So she picked him up and brought him home. Jacob met him a few days later and loved him so much. Jacob and Brooke decided to name him Mickey. Mickey was a crazy kitty to say the least. And after months of trying every toy and every calming treat they could find, they decided to try and find him a friend to play with. On November 23rd, 2024, Brooke and Jacob met an orange and white kitty at the Petsmart shelter. He was as sweet as could be and seemed to love being around other cats. So they took him home and got him settled. Shortly after, they decided to name him Tiger. Him and Mickey didn’t get along at first AT ALL. But over time they began to bond and now they are the best of friends :)

Jacob and Brooke went on a quick trip to Tennessee for Jacob’s birthday. Jacob was not able to get very much time off of work but they made do with the 2 days he was able to take off! They went to Gatlinburg and stayed in the cutest cabin in the mountains. 🏔️ Jacob had gotten the ring a few months before but he knew he wanted the proposal to be special. So when they had begun planning his birthday trip, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to surprise Brooke in such a beautiful place 💍

This picture below was taken on Brooke and Jacob’s very first hike! Jacob wanted to go on one for his birthday and Brooke was so excited to see the waterfall at the top! It was a brutal hike but the waterfall at the top was so worth it!! 🥾
