Jeep and UTV Rentals
If you want to explore the mountains while you're in town, Ouray Mountain Adevntures rents 4-door Jeeps (Rubicons, Wrangler JLs, and Gladiators), UTVs, and e-bikes.
Fly Fishing
For anyone who wants to get out on the water, RIGS Fly Shop & Guide Service is located just up the road in Ridgway, Colorado. They offer guided fly fishing trips on six rivers in the area.
Ouray Hot Springs
The Ouray Hot Springs Pool is open to the public daily from 11 am – 10 pm and features multiple pools ranging from a warm shallow pool to a hot soaking area, plus water slides in the summer. Admission is $30 for adults and $18 for youth.
Box Cañon Falls Park
Just a short walk from town there is a 285-foot waterfall that plunges through a narrow quartzite canyon with rock walls towering nearly 100 feet above. There are a few trails ranging from easy to moderately difficult, plus a nature center with exhibits. We have never had to pay for this, but the exhibits may cost money.
