Things To Do

We're so excited to have you for our wedding weekend! Whether you're a local or from out of town, we hope you spend some time enjoying all that Philadelphia has to offer over the weekend.

Suggested Itinerary for Out-of-Towners

For breakfast, head to La Colombe for coffee and a pastry. Then, talk a walk through the city down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Check out the flags lining the side of the road as you make your way to your museum of choice: the Barnes Museum, Calder Gardens, the Franklin Institute, the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Rodin Museum, etc! Or, if you’re very interested in the Mütter Museum, you likely won’t have enough time on the wedding day to see all there is to see; so, check it out in advance! Alternatively, sit back and relax at Cira Green, a rooftop park in University City, and stroll through the beautiful campus at UPenn. For lunch, head over to Reading Terminal Market! Check out Dinic’s for a roast pork sandwich, Gus’s for a cheesesteak, Bassett’s for ice cream, and find some chairs in the middle to sit and eat. Then, take advantage of Philadelphia’s offerings of tons of guided or self-guided tours to teach you a thing or two about the city’s history as you enjoy your afternoon.
