For our Houston friends, we recommend making a weekend of our 'destination' wedding and stopping in Lake Charles for a bit of gambling along the way! We like Isle Capri for low minimum bets, The Golden Nugget for the Blue Martini club and L'Auberge for it's classic luxury.

Visit the home of Tabasco about 45 minutes from Lafayette! Eat lunch at their restaurant or take a factory and museum tour if you're feeling touristy.

Avery Island

The best burger in town and a Folse/Broussard favorite! They're closed Sundays so go check them out for lunch on Saturday.

Judice Inn

If Lake Charles just wasn't enough, visit Evangeline Downs just a few miles from our wedding venue, aka Greg's dad's house, for some more fun.
