Jaxx
Man of Honor/Best Man
Rather than following the traditional route of having a maid of honor and best man, we chose to do something a little different .... and a lot more meaningful. Our son, Jaxx, will proudly take on both of these special roles on our wedding day. He is our greatest blessing, our most prized possession, and the person who completes our family. We couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without him right by our side, so it only felt right to give him the honor of being both Man of Honor and Best Man. One of the moments we’re most excited for is when Jaxx walks Mommy down the aisle, a true symbol of our family coming together as one.
Beckett
Ring Bearer
Our sweet nephew Beckett, the son of Brooke’s oldest brother Nathaniel, will be one of our ring bearers. Beckett is such a gift to our family... full of the cutest smiles and full of love. Even though miles separate us, he holds such a special place in our hearts. There was never a question that he had to be part of our big day. We couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without him there to share in the joy and memories of this moment. He likely won't remember this big day, but we will cherish it for the rest of our lives & the whole family will get to retell the day to him as he grows up.
Crew
Ring Bearer
Our other ring bearer, Crew, is the son of Brooke’s best friend since middle school, Kayla. Crew holds such a special place in both of our hearts, he’s full of laughter, personality, and a spunk that is really hard to describe to an outsider. Every moment spent with him brings smiles and giggles, especially when we think back to the days when he called Gabe “Auntie Gabe” (a nickname that still makes us laugh to this day). Having Crew be a part of our wedding is so meaningful, it’s a beautiful full-circle moment for Brooke to have her best friend’s son standing by our side on such an important day. We can’t wait to share this memory with him and his family.
Parker
Flower Girl
Parker is the daughter of Mikayla, Brooke’s longest and dearest friend. Brooke and Mikayla met all the way back in first grade and have remained inseparable ever since, so when Mikayla first shared she was expecting, Parker already held a special place in Brooke’s heart. Parker is the perfect mix of sweet and sour. A lil’ spitfire with the kindest heart and the funniest personality. She keeps everyone on their toes in the best way. When Gabriel met her in 2022, he instantly felt that same bond and soft spot for her, too. We are so excited and honored to have Parker by our side on such a special day, sprinkling petals, joy, and just a little bit of sass down the aisle.
Mila
Flower Girl
Mila is Gabriel’s cousin and the daughter of Jamie and Alina Hernandez. She’s a talkaholic with a huge personality, the kind of little girl who lights up any room she walks into. She was the perfect choice to walk down the aisle at our wedding. When we asked her if she wanted to be in the wedding, she simply said “ok,” in the cutest, most unforgettable way — and we’ve been smiling about it ever since.
