Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire to complement our late fall celebration. We also ask our guests to refrain from wearing all white attire. Formal attire for women: Floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, or elegant midi-length dresses are all wonderful choices. Seasonal fabrics like satin, velvet, or crepe are perfect for the time of year. Suggested colors: jewel tones, rich autumn shades, or classic neutrals. Formal attire for men: Suits or tuxedos are encouraged. A dark-colored suit with a tie is perfectly appropriate, while a tuxedo is always welcome for a more elevated look. Suggested colors: black, navy, charcoal, or deep fall tones.

Can I wear a costume?

Answer

We understand that our wedding is on Halloween; however, we will not be hosting a costume party for our wedding celebration. Please refer to the previous answer regarding attire.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. We kindly request that all our guests arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to avoid arriving during the processional. If you are late (after 4:25 pm), we kindly ask that you wait in your vehicle until the ceremony is over.

Do we have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! It is important that you are included in our big day. We will not be able to appropriately cater to your experience if you do not RSVP.

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

As much as we adore the little ones, we are not able to accommodate everyone. Please refer to the RSVP for the guests we can accommodate.

May I bring someone not listed on the RSVP?

Answer

We want our wedding day to be an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family. Please refer to the RSVP details for the people invited. If you have any questions or if your plus-one changes, please feel free to reach out to Brooke, Shana, or Cheryl directly.

Question

When should I arrive for the reception?

Answer

If you are only joining us for the reception, we ask that you arrive between 5:50 and 6:00. Our reception will start with a grand entrance of the wedding party at 6:15. We would appreciate having an open floor to proceed.

Do I have to stay for the entire reception?

Answer

We would love for everyone to stay until the end of the reception for the send-off. However, we know that the send-off is later and completely understand if you cannot make it until then.
