Wedding Party

Mrs. Chelsea James

Matron of Honor

Sisters... can't live with them, but certainly can't live without them. Chelsea is my older sister and the first best friend I ever had. Although it doesn't seem long ago that we were planning her wedding, July 2021 will make her 2 years married to her best friend, Tyler. She's a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Child's Hospital here in Augusta. Her effortlessness of ALWAYS keeping good grades pushed me to work hard in school and get me to where I am today. I'm very thankful to have an older sister that whether meaning to or not lead me in such a positive way. You'll find very quickly we will all be well taken care of by first responders in our wedding party alone. Shout-out to all of our friends and family who have been and continue to work on the frontline. Thank You!

Miss Chloe McGahee

Maid of Honor

Chloe... what would Chelsea and I be able to do without you. Or perhaps, what would you be able to do without us?! Kidding! Really though, I've enjoyed being able to watch you mature from being a little kid who watched movies on REPEAT... the SAME movie ALL DAY on repeat... to someone who loves the Lord, completed an Associates, and is continuing to move forward in school. I love getting to be an older sister to you, I hope I'm doing everything I can to help and encourage you to be the best you can be. I'll always be here for you.

Miss Kyndall Douglas

Bridesmaid

Kyndall is my oldest younger sister (her 22nd birthday is exactly 1 week after the wedding so be sure to grab her next drink every time you go to the bar). She is a Graphic Design major at Augusta University. You'll probably see her as illustrated here from behind her camera, as one of her greatest passions is photography, ensuring all guests will be well (and hopefully poorly/embarrassingly) photographed.

Miss Camdyn Douglas

Bridesmaid

Camdyn is my 16 year old sister so watch out for her on the way out of the wedding. Doesn't matter where you're headed drive in the opposite direction. She's a boss cheerleader and can probably lift more than you so don't let the cutesy makeup and hair fool you. Request TikTok songs from the DJ if you want her to teach everyone present how to dance.

Mrs. Britton Austin

Bridesmaid

My sweet Britton! I have truly been blessed with such a kind-hearted best friend, there isn't a soul out there that knows Britton and doesn't love her. I had the pleasure of meeting Britton, through her twin sister, McCall (another Bridesmaid of mine) in middle school, along with the rest of her wonderful family. Britton is a nurse for Augusta Plastic Surgery and is now married to her best friend, Korey, who is also a nurse! I met Korey when the two of them started dating about 5 years ago and have just as much love for him. I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't also introduce their sweet (biggest Gold Retriever I've ever met) Herschel.

Mrs. McCall Montgomery

Bridesmaid

I don't know what my life would have looked like if I hadn't met McCall in our middle school P.E. class. We've been best friends every since. McCall brought me into her family and each of them welcomed me with open arms. Some of my best memories growing up come from the times I spent with her and her family. McCall is a 3rd grader teacher on top of finishing her Masters degree! She's married to her best friend, Nathan, for going on 5 years now! They were my first friends to marry and I'm so incredibly proud of the relationship they have with each other and their friends. They have shown us a beautiful example of marriage, and I look forward to seeing where God will lead their family next. Don't stop killing it!

Miss Abigail Swint

Bridesmaid

As some of you know, my degree is in Dental Hygiene and I had the pleasure of working full-time for two years before switching my career completely. There was a moment when I was looking for other career paths that I worried I chose the wrong field of study, however, God quickly reminded me of all the blessings and skills I received through Dental Hygiene. Abby is the perfect example of why I'm right where I'm suppose to be. Abby was the very first friend I made in the Dental Hygiene program and later my co-worker. My friendship with Abby has always been so effortless and has grown so much in just a short while. She's my sweet friend from Warrenton ;) who has a heart of gold. I love all the trips, heart to hearts and memories I've had and will continue to have with you!

Miss Caitlen Taylor

Bridesmaid

Caitlen and I go way back to the tether ball courts of RES, apparently P.E. is the place to meet life-long best friends! Caitlen is the friend who's seen and been through it all with me. I'm so proud of all of the hard work she has put into school and her career. Having graduated from UGA with a Biology degree, she is now in Atlanta at Emory working in research! We've spent our fair share of time in separate cities post high school but I'm so thankful for the couple of years I had with her before she made her move to Atlanta a year ago. She was my first friend to meet Dylan and give me the OK, as all girlfriends do. Some of the funniest memories Dylan and I have had were with Caitlen. She's that friend who's going to have a good time no matter what and is the free spirit I strive to be!

Mr. Krystopher Douglas

Best Man

KC is my oldest younger brother and my best friend in life. He's a lot funnier and cooler than I am so if you want a laugh don't hesitate to say hey. He always seems to be the center of all the fun. He's currently working through nursing school, and has been dating his girlfriend Skylar for 4 years now. She helps keep him grounded as best any of us can... We all have marginal success at best.

Mr. Steven Douglas

Groomsman

Steve is doing me the honor of tripling up on the big day in the roles of my groomsman standing by my side, my dad, and one of the very best friends I have had in life. More than anything in the world he loves being the best husband he can to my mom and the best dad he can to all of his (12) kids. Beyond that, lots of people swear to us that he's really funny and that they love him (eye roll)... We don't really see it so I guess it's up to all of you to figure it out for yourselves.

Mr. Hayden Douglas

Groomsman

Hayden is my 19 year old brother. He graduated high school this year so now he's on to bigger and better things. KC and I make merciless fun of him, but hey... what're you supposed to do with a little brother... Despite that, he is another one of my best friends, and I am extremely excited that he'll be with me on the big day.

Mr. Jayden Douglas

Groomsman

Jayden is my 16 year old brother. He cracks me up with the goofy things he says and does. He's constantly involved with all the shenanigans Hayden, KC, and I are up to when we're around so he's another one of my best friends. He's overcome a lot in life so I am incredibly proud of the young man he's growing into, that I get to be his oldest brother, and to have him with me on my big day.

Mr. Korey Austin

Groomsman

Korey is a close friend of Brooke and I. Brooke met him when he started dating her friend and his wife, Britton, and I met him when I started dating Brooke. What stands out to most people about Korey is his wit and humor. However, what's stood out to me more than anything else in my time with Korey is his welcoming and unwavering kindness. Korey is a nurse which accurately communicates the general care he has for his fellow man. He's never met a stranger so don't be one. He's sure to leave you and I smiling and laughing on the wedding day.

Mr. Nathan Montgomery

Groomsman

Nathan is another of Brooke and I's close friends. Brooke met him ages ago when he first started dating his wife, Brooke's friend, McCall, and I met him when I started dating Brooke. Nathan is beyond kind, and, I especially enjoy bonding with him through our nerdiness. More than anything else he loves his wife McCall, their two dawgs Nash and Finley (although I love Finley almost as much), and his family and friends. I have the suspicion he loves the accompanying lame dad jokes he gets to make on a regular basis to all of those parties, Brooke and I included, just as much. I'm very grateful that Nathan will be with me on the wedding day.

Mr. Chandler McGahee

Groomsman

Like typical brother-sister relationships, growing up in school 4 years apart we spent much of our time either annoying the other or hanging out with friends of our own. I'm so thankful that as the years pass, that's grown to become less and less true. Chandler is such a great brother to me and an even better friend. In such a short time he finished his degree in Nuclear Technology and is training to become an operator at Vogtle. It's true we were all a little worried for you in your high school years, but I'm so proud of the man you are becoming and the drive you have. I'm so happy I'm able to have you be a part of my wedding day.

Mrs. Courtney Owens

MVP

Alright, Courtney isn't technically in the wedding party, but if you've read the "Our Story" section on this website, then you know how important she was to Brooke and I ending up together. She's the one that made it all happen for us. Without her, we honestly wouldn't be together today. Courtney meant a lot to both Brooke and I before that, though. Personally, Courtney has been there for and supported me in the hardest times in my life. She's opinionated and outspoken, but more than that she's loyal, empathetic, and giving. We're excited to dance the night away and celebrate with our matchmaker! Thank you so much for everything you've done for us, Courtney!
