I guess you can say that our hearts have always been close to each other since, we actually met as children while growing up in the Bennett Homes Project, yeah that's how it went. As time moved on so did we in different directions pursuing higher education and attaining careers. As luck would have it we ended up purchasing houses in the same neighborhood many years later. One summer afternoon our paths crossed while we were both attending a local festival. There we began talking and spent the rest of the afternoon laughing and getting reacquainted and comfortable. A few months later we went on our first date and learned just how much we have in common and hence... our hearts have been gratified and inseparable ever since. #ItJustMakesSpence

How he secretly arranged this on the hottest day of the summer still baffles me and should qualify him for an award. On a steamy July afternoon, after a long day of shopping I pulled my car into the driveway. He was sitting there waiting for me. As he walked over to my car and opened the door, I could hear our favorite song playing on a loud speaker. I had no idea what was going on. He took me by the hand and led me down to the backyard where he had all our family & friends gathered and a full dinner spread, awaiting my arrival. Then there in front of everyone, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
