Our first meeting was 20 years ago. Darris and I attended the same church at that time. . At the young tender ages of 11 and 12 we sparked an interest in each other unbeknownst to us our contact would soon end. During this time I wasn't at the age just yet to be on the phone with a male companion so, the only communication we had was in person. Darris along with his family ceased attendance at the church. We literally never seen each other every again. Granted, we attended schools that at the time was in the same division. But, even then we didn't psychically cross paths. Fast forward 20 years later.....Thank goodness for today's technology! Facebook reconnected our paths back together. The connection has been as if we've never skipped a decade. Some milestones have been reached and archived in our history more unfolding.
