The story begins long before they really knew each other, their paths had crossed numerous times. Daniel and Brooke both grew up in the Fargo-moorhead area but both spent their entire summers 7 miles apart on lakes in Park Rapids, MN. In fact, Dan grew up playing on the stage of his family’s theater just to the west of Brooke’s lake home. Then Daniel joined The Johnny Holm Band, a band Brooke has gone to see play many times. There are actually photos out there of Brooke in the front row, in front of Dan before they had even truly met. Daniel then moved to Nashville and while he was in Nashville, Brooke went to visit friends and they discovered they were in the same place, on the same night, on Broadway. Brooke had also applied to a job, got the job and almost moved to Nashville during that time. Dan's parents, Shawn and Kathie moved into a house in Moorhead in 2019 and it was right across the street from Brooke's parents, Bruce and Val. So it was almost as if they were destined to meet. Thankful for Madi and Joey, two of their very best friends who had suggested they officially meet and get to know each other.....and here we are three years later planning our own wedding.
