Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery & Cocktail Bar
This is where we got engaged! Stranahan's is our favorite whiskey distillery. We'll have a limited amount of Stranahan's whiskey available to try at our wedding.
Linger Eatuaries
This is our favorite restaurant and where we went for dinner on our impromptu, unofficial first date. It's a global menu with shareable plates and delicious cocktails.
Denver Beer Co. Platte Street
This is our favorite brewery and it's in downtown Denver, so you can walk around afterwards. Colin's favorite beer is the Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch and Brooke's favorite is the Juicy Freak IPA.
Arapahoe Basin
If you're a skier or snowboarder, A-basin will likely be open by the time our wedding rolls around. If you're a beginner, we recommend taking a lesson as A-basin doesn't offer beginner terrain.
Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station
This isn't your typical museum. You'll feel like you fell down a rabbit hole and ended up in wonderland.
Williams & Graham
This is a speakeasy cocktail bar with an incredible vibe. We think they have the best cocktails in Denver and we don't say that lightly. We highly recommend getting a reservation.
Improper City
If you're staying at The Source Hotel or Vib Hotel in RiNo, we recommend stopping by Improper City for a drink or a bite from one of their food trucks. Layers, the Shrek soundtrack cover band Colin is in, plays here twice per year and the energy is unbeatable.
Roxborough State Park
This is Brooke's favorite area to hike close to Denver. Roxborough State Park has trails for all skill levels and distances. If the weather is nice enough, this is a lovely spot to hike with gorgeous views and beautiful red rocks.
Holey Moley Golf Club Denver
This is a kid-friendly bar with putt-putt golf. Grab a drink and play some indoor mini golf with your family or friends.
Ball Arena
If you're still here the evening of Monday, November 11th, you can hit up a hockey game. The Avs will be playing the Predators at Ball Arena. Go blue team!
Forest Room 5
This is a super fun literary-themed bar. Cocktails and books? Is there anything more Colin and Brooke?
Denver Zoo
This is a great spot to take kids if the weather is nice enough! Just a heads up, there is an entrance fee.
Denver Community Church
If you're looking for a church service to attend the Sunday after our wedding, we love our church in Denver. They just have one service at 10 am and have Sunday school for kids. It's a welcoming space for everyone!
