As we spent time together on the beach and finding ourselves drawn to be outside with one another, God slowly showed me the beautiful Angel he had sent. "A week before Cole was about to ship out for Basic Military Training we were blessed enough to be able to take a trip to the beautiful North Georgia mountains. We stayed in a small cabin in the woods where we had no service, just each other's company. We made a fire every night, laughed so much, and fell in such a deeper love for each other while we were studying Gods word together preparing for the near future. It wasn't until the last day of the trip we woke up for a sunrise hike, and at the very top of the mountain we stopped to talk more about the future together. It was a chilly morning, and wasn't long before we agreed to head back when I heard a "WAIT!" I turned around to see the love on my life on one knee. I screamed "YES" and we were engaged!" We spent the last day in our cabin head over heels thankful for the life we get to make with each other!" - Brooke

After eight long weeks of only being able to write letters to each other our love developed so strongly and so intensely over that time, we knew without a doubt we were meant for each other and God brought us together for a reason. The only thing left to do was tie the knot, we decided over hand written letters we were going to get married the day of Basic Military Training graduation. Yes, distance makes the heart grow fonder, but there is something so magical about waiting for that letter from the love of your life to finally be in your hands. The world stopped turning every time we both got a letter. Basic Military Training Graduation was March 6th at 10am. After those long eight weeks we were FINALLY in each other's arms again. We both took off hand in hand to the court house, then to the chapel to say our "I do's" with our parents and siblings by our sides, in a very intimate church setting in downtown San Antonio. March 6th was the happiest day of our lives. We got Married!! We are so blessed to be able to have everyone we love together sharing in our love. We can't wait for September 28th!
