A must see when coming to Charleston and one of our favorite places. A beautiful waterway lined with really fun bars and great restaurants. Grab lunch or dinner at Vickery's, pop over to Saltwater Cowboys for fun cocktails and dolphin watching on the docks, and end the night on the deck at Red's. Enjoy a scenic boat tour or kayaking as well.
One of Charleston's 3 main beaches. We prefer Sullivan's when looking for a laid back day. Make sure to grab lunch at Home Team BBQ or Mex 1 and frozen rosé at Co-op! If you're looking for a really nice dinner definitely check out The Obstinate Daughter. Sullivan's also offers kayaking, sailing, fishing, kiteboarding, and paddleboarding.
One of our favorite places, known as the edge of America. Time moves slower here and everyone is truly living the island life. Set up on the beach in front of Blu to walk back and forth for piña coladas. Once properly sunburnt, take a stroll on the pier and then go check out Chico Feo and Taco Boy.
Along a one-mile section of Meeting Street you will find 6 museums, 5 nationally renowned historic houses, 4 scenic parks, a Revolutionary War powder magazine, and an array of historic houses of worship and public buildings such as the Market and City Hall. Highly recommend the ghost and dungeon tour.
