Question

What is the money dance? What is the money dance?

Answer

We are excited to honor Christian's filipino heritage with a traditional Money Dance (Sabitan ng Pera). During this time, we will be on the dance floor and invite you to join us for a quick turn! As we dance together, you are welcome to pin money onto our clothing as a gesture of love and well-wishes for our new journey as the Garridos. Don't worry about being a pro on the dance floor—it’s just a fun, brief spin while you share a moment and pin your contribution. There’s no pressure to have fancy moves! Participation is entirely optional; whether you choose to dance with us or simply cheer us on from the sidelines, we can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with all of you.

Question

What is the horah? What is the horah?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with the traditional Jewish Horah! This is a high-energy, joyful circle dance that kicks off the party. As the music plays, everyone joins hands and dances in a circle, and at one point, we will be lifted up into the air on chairs while our friends and family dance around us! Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before—it’s very easy to follow along, and there’s no pressure to be an expert. Just jump into the circle, hold hands, and enjoy the celebration!
