FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP and do I need to

Answer

Please mail your RSVP card back by the date indicated on your RSVP card. Because we have to submit our final headcount to our venue shortly after, we unfortunately won't be able to accommodate late responses. If we don't receive your card by the deadline, we will miss you but will have to count you as a "no"!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space constraints at our venue, we can only accommodate the guests explicitly listed on your invitation envelope. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a friend/partner I'd love to bring. Can they come?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but our venue has a strict capacity limit. We are only able to host the specific guests named on the invitation. We appreciate your support and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are you registered for gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Because we are focusing entirely on celebrating this special moment with our family and friends, we have chosen not to register for gifts and kindly request no physical gifts. We are just thrilled to have you there with us!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! The attire for our wedding is Cocktail.

Question

What does that mean exactly?

Answer

For women, a cocktail dress, a dressy suit, or a chic jumpsuit works perfectly. For men, we recommend a suit and tie or a jacket and dress pants.

Question

Can I wear white?

Answer

We kindly ask that you leave white, cream, and ivory for the bride.

Question

A note on footwear:

Answer

The evening will take place on a boat, so you may want to rethink stiletto heels in favor of wedges, block heels, or flats!

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We’ve hired an incredible photographer and videographer to capture these moments, and we invite you to be fully present with us. We promise to share the professional photos with everyone later!

Question

Can we take photos during the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The boat will get underway promptly at 6:30PM. We recommend arriving at 5:45 so you can find a seat and settle in before we start

Question

What happens if I'm late?

Answer

You will literally miss the boat so you can wave from the shore
