Moon Mountain Lodge Camping

The Wedding Website of Brooke Friesen and Casey Rothlisberger
Below you will (hopefully) find answers to all your questions about camping at Moon Mountain Lodge.
Question

Is sleeping at the venue required?

Answer

No, we are not requiring anyone to stay the night at the venue. However, sleeping in the woods with our closest friends and family nearby is very special to us, and we very much want to share the entire weekend with you, not just the ceremony and reception.

Question

I'm not a tent person, are there other options?

Answer

Tents are the preferred method of sleeping for wedding guests, however there is also space for RV's, trailers, and trucks. If you are coming from out of state, we will round up tents/air mattresses/sleeping bags/blankets to help the burden of flying with bulky items. Renting an RV can be tricky, and we recommend you do it as soon as possible.

Question

Will tents be provided?

Answer

If you are coming from inside Washington State, we ask that you bring your own tent, mattress, pillow, and sleeping bag (or blankets). Let us know if this is an issue, and we will help. If you are coming from out of state, we will round up tents/air mattresses/sleeping bags/blankets to help the burden of flying with bulky items.

Question

Do I need to bring food for the weekend?

Answer

We will have dinner on Friday night, breakfast/lunch/dinner on Saturday the 24th, and breakfast on the 25th. There will be plenty of coffee. We will have snacks throughout the weekend, but we recommend bringing your own snacks if you are someone who is always hungry.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

We are planning on serving beer and wine during the traditional wedding activities (June 24th). You are welcome to bring outside beverages for the rest of the weekend.
