Our story started in Dallas when Brooke moved to Uptown (conveniently right next to the venue!) and Balin moved to The Village. Fate—or maybe just Dallas real estate—brought us together. For our first date, was at Mi Cocina and, in a stunning display of compatibility, both ordered quesadillas. Whether it was true love or a shared appreciation for melted cheese remains unclear, but we've been pretty much inseparable ever since. We've traveled everywhere from Cabo San Lucas to New York City, from Denver to Philadelphia, proving that we can successfully navigate airports, road trips, and deciding where to eat. On a trip to Philadelphia that was supposed to be just another fun getaway, Balin had a surprise planned. Brooke thought they were sightseeing. Balin was busy trying not to give away the fact that he was carrying an engagement ring. In the end, the surprise worked, Brooke said yes, and the rest is history.
