THERE ARE NO UBERS! Shuttles are available if you do not wish to drive from the airport. Shuttles are also available thru town on the hour. Driving was easy for us the last time we were there in the winter. Take it slow and watch for animals!

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are looking to do a lot of outdoor activities including Skiing/Snowboarding, I highly recommend using airbnb or vrbo to book a condo/chalet/cabin. There are thousands of options from ski in/ ski out & hotels right at the lift. Our previous trip in November we rented an airbnb condo for $125.00 that slept 7 and was a very short walk to the lifts. The hotels are also great options at the top of the mountain. Go to the travel section of our website and click on Big Sky Resort. All options also available there. For those of you that want to be closest to the ranch click on travel and Bucks T4 or New Marriott are great. Make this trip a vacation for you !

Best place for snacks & booze!

If you are staying at the top of the mountain there is a sundry shop with everything you could imagine called the Hungry Moose Market. Basically a mini walmart for snacks/booze & emergency supplies. If you plan to rent a home or condo and want full groceries there is Roxys Market located just before you turn to head up to top of mountain.
