WE DECIDED ON FOREVER!

We met through Brooke's cousin, Emily, and AJ's best friend, Tom. It was early in the summer of 2021, and we were both going to a bar in New Haven called "Bar". We got to chatting at the beginning of the night, and both agree that we must've been on our "A" flirting games. Brooke made the first move after that by messaging AJ "You're cute" at the end of the night. And the rest was history!

In June of 2023 we were on Nantucket, which holds a special place in both of our hearts as it is the first place we ever vacationed together. The family convinced Brooke that we were celebrating her birthday, and Brooke, Kiley, Lee, and AJ went to the Galley for a drink while Nonnie was supposedly cooking Brooke's birthday dinner. During sunset pictures, AJ got down on one knee and told a novel before FINALLY asking the question, in which Brooke immediately responded "YES" to.
