Brooke and Scott met January 10, 2022 in Fosko coffee shop in Pensacola. Their first date was a jazz concert and bingo; their second date was two-stepping. They were inseparable until Scott moved to San Diego 6 months later. They were 2000 miles apart for 2.5 years. When Brooke visited San Diego in March 2023, Scott was acting very suspicious. After rushing home from a flight, he insisted on painting Brooke's nails. They ran out the door and drove to the middle of no-where to hike a mountain before sunset. Right as the sun set, Scott got on one knee and asked Brooke to marry him. Brooke finished flight school while Scott got qualified and deployed. Skip ahead to September 2024-it was a whirl-wind! They bought a boat (Elixir), Scott returned from deployment, Brooke moved to San Diego, and they finally lived in the same zip code! Let the wedding planning begin!
