FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please click on the RSVP tab above at any time to RSVP.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than 5/30/2026. Any RSVPs received after this date or not received at all will be marked as “not attending”. While we would love to celebrate with you, we will not be able to accommodate you as we have to provide an exact head count for the dinner.

Question

Are you accepting gifts?

Answer

The best gift for us is to be able to spend this time and celebrate our marriage with our friends and families. However, if you would like to give a gift, we are asking for contributions to our honeymoon fund instead of a specific gift. It is completely optional! The link to our fund is under the registry tab above.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrival no later than 4:45pm. We hope to see you sooner at cocktail hour, which starts at 4pm by the lake.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire for a summer garden party theme. So for men, suit jacket and dress pants with or without a tie. For women this could be colorful +/- floral dresses that can be knee length, tea length or even maxi! Whichever you prefer :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of the event, we are only inviting very close friends and family members. We therefore can only accommodate those individuals formally invited to our celebration. Your invite will have the specific names of the individuals invited to our celebration. If the name is not listed, then the individual is not invited. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love kids, this is an adults only event except for immediate family who have been specifically told otherwise.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see under the Travel section above.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage our friends and families to utilize Lyft or Uber to and from the event as the safest and most convenient option. Parking is available but limited, so we encourage you to carpool.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We want to celebrate this time with you! We have planned several events throughout the weekend that we encourage everyone to attend. There will also be ample opportunity to enjoy the lakes and beach, so bring a swimsuit! Please see the schedule page to see all the events and RSVP.

Question

Do I need to RSVP to the activities to go?

Answer

Yes! In order to make sure we have enough space and reserve the activities, we need a specific head count. Therefore, if you do not RSVP by the deadline, we may not be able to accommodate you.

Question

When are you arriving and when should I arrive?

Answer

We will be arriving on 6/17 and staying until the following week. We encourage everyone to arrive Friday evening (or earlier!) for our welcome BBQ and campfire, however we understand this will be difficult especially for our out of state friends. Therefore, arriving by early Saturday afternoon will assure you make it to the ceremony on time. We will have planned events starting Friday until Sunday that we would love for you to attend. But we understand everyone has different availabilities so come and go as you are able. We are just happy you will be attending!

Question

Do I have to do the planned activities?

Answer

No, they are completely optional. We just ask if you are not interested in attending to please RSVP “not attending” so we have your response. Traverse City has many beautiful things to do if you are interested in exploring individually. We are happy to provide recommendations!
