We love kids, but we ask that parents remain responsible for their children throughout the entire day. There are horses in the parking area that can be petted respectfully, but only under adult supervision, as they are retired and we want to ensure they are not disturbed. We will not be providing a babysitter. If children cannot remain quiet during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you either step out with them or consider not bringing them to the ceremony.
We will have plenty of nonalcoholic drinks to keep you refreshed, but we will not be providing alcohol. Feel free to bring your own if you like, but please drink responsibly—we want everyone to have fun and get home safely. The drive out of the venue winds through a dark canyon, and there are no Ubers or overnight parking, so plan ahead and take care of each other!
There is a decent sized parking lot at the venue, but if you can carpool, even if it’s just from the entrance of the animal sanctuary to the venue please do! Plan extra time just in case. There is no parking on the road outside of the parking lot as it is used to get to the rest of the buildings on the property. There is a chance there may be some uber or lift services in kanab, but likely not late at night, it is a very small town!
