It was a typical Tuesday night at the Porch (a young adult ministry at Watermark Church) when Noah and I were serving alongside each other. Noah was wearing a Baylor t-shirt (poser) and I made a comment hoping that I could learn a little more about him. After listening to his sweet story, I knew this man was special and I had to keep him around. We talked until the church closed down for the night and he asked me if he could walk me to my car (what a gentleman). I of course said yes but he didn't end up walking me to my car....he turned around to talk to a member on his team, and I was out the door...I had clinical for nursing school the next morning and had to be up at the crack of dawn so I needed my precious sleep (sorry Noah). I ended up feeling so bad about it that I ended up messaging him on Facebook, stating that I owed him a walk to my car. He thankfully didn't think that was creepy and responded that day. The rest is history....well kinda...we were friends for a year (me secretly knowing he was going to be my husband) until he asked me to be his girlfriend, then his fiancé, and soon his WIFE. If you don't know Noah Wible, a few things you must know about him are these: He is a man steadfast after God's heart, he is the most selfless human I have ever met, he makes me want to be a better person, he is compassionate and loves with his whole heart, he makes me laugh on a daily basis, and most importantly - he is my best friend. I cannot wait to call that man HUSBAND. Brook left me 501 words to write my side of the story... so as eloquently as I can put it, our story was one for the books. Girl met boy, girl liked boy. Boy was slow and dumb to not lock girl down, girl gets annoyed with waiting..alot. Boy finally comes to his senses and asks girl to be his girl. Girl says "Its about dang time" In all seriousness, I fell in love with a girl that is passionate, goofy, and most important loves Jesus with her whole heart. Can't wait to do life with my best friend.
