WE ELOPED!

Brook & Nadia met in 2007 when they were only 14 and 15! In the year 2007, the scene/emo era was in full swing and going to local shows at The Circuit was the best place for sweet baby emos to meet one another and that is where Brook and Nadia met. Nadia recalls stepping outside The Circuit and instantly noticing a boy she had never seen before all by himself. Brook had the most beautiful, long black wavy hair that covered most of his face yet she noticed one single blue eye smudged with eyeliner. ☺️ The fact that Brook came to the show by himself showed how silently confident he was - she was instantly intrigued and smitten. After the show ended Nadia was waiting outside for her friends and she sees Brook, sitting by himself, on the curb of the sidewalk and she knew it was now or never! Nadia walked over and sat down next to Brook and introduced herself, she asked him if he wanted to come out to dinner with her and her friends and he sweetly replied, “I can’t. My mom is on her way to pick me up.” Nadia smiled and said, “No problem! Okay if I just sit with you till she comes?” They both instantly knew that they were going to be extremely special in each other’s lives. They exchanged cell phone numbers, Brook actually giving his mom’s number as he didn’t have a cell phone, and then they eventually found each other on MySpace! Then life happened - but Brook and Nadia always held a special place in their hearts for years even when it was just as friends. The timing was never right for them until 7 years ago. ☺️ One night Nadia got a direct Snapchat from Brook! She opened his Snapchat and it was a cute photo of him in his hostel in Europe with text saying, “Y u no go on date with me.” Nadia just rolled her eyes and ignored it. 😅 When Brook came home from Europe he reached out to her again asking her on an official date and the combination of the movie Hereditary, sweaty palm hand holding, trash bucket popcorn and Sprite, and vodka shots in the theater was the recipe for true love! ♡ The rest that comes after is a much longer but loving story. ☺️ Brook & Nadia got engaged on a secluded mountain in Seward, Alaska; June 2025.
