We’re getting married!

In the summer of 2022, Nylisha had an adult field she invited me to. We had started getting cool by talking in the group chat and I really just wanted to support her and enjoy the function with friends. Plus I told her I was going to go, so I had to keep my word. When we met that day, my first in-person thought was, She is crazy. But not in a bad way 🤣 . After her cookout we started really just talking and getting to know each other. Her confidence and always being persistent in talking to me really stood out. It stood out so much that over the winter holiday season, I went to Virginia to give her a surprise promise ring. Talking to me, I could really feel that she cared about me. I loved that and her smile. I wanted to be with her forever. Our memories from traveling together, going to Florida, and just generally spending quality time together has allowed me to really get to know her.

In the summer of 2022, my sister and I put together a little cookout/field day event in Virginia. A lot of our friends that we never met in person were able to attend. Bronze was one of those in attendance. When I saw him in person I was taken aback. He was handsome, sweet, mature, and just different from any young man I had ever met before. I was intrigued and the more I talked to him the more I wanted to talk to him. He was and still is consistently patient, spiritual, kind and genuine. I am so blessed to be able to, very soon, call this man my husband. He makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I feel safe and protected and that makes it so easy to love him. I really do thank God for him everyday.
