We met for the first time at a Christian Fellowship Meeting at the Peabody Conservatory of Music and instantly bonded over our mutual love for our Savior, Lord of the Rings, C. S. Lewis, and Brahms Symphony No. 2. We stayed close friends, going on regular group outings to Baltimore Symphony Concerts, meeting almost every day for 8:30am Music Theory, walking to church and the Inner Harbour, answering phone calls and selling tickets at the Peabody Box Office while debating the meaning of the word "sublime".
Two years later Bronwyn and Jisang both knew that something was up and Bronwyn finally got up the courage to tell Jisang how she felt. Two weeks later, in a practice room on the top floor of the Conservatory, Jisang asked Bronwyn out on their first date and the rest is history! Of course, this is a condensed version of the story, and it doesn't really covey all the complexity and joy that learning to love someone entails, but suffice it to say, before we ever loved each other, Christ loved us first. He gave us the ultimate demonstration of what it means to love somebody and because of that sacrificial love we can go do the same.
