The Hunchback of Notre Dame is delicious!
Scope out The Dairy Store in the union building on campus. (Some of the ice cream is made with ingredients from MSU cows.)
Scope out their Japanese Garden.
Their chicken salad sandwich with melted cheese is not to be missed. Everything is delicious and locally sourced. 🙂
Their coffee is tasty!
Delicious coffee in a funky atmosphere 🙂
The best bagels I’ve ever had! Or, if you’re popping in for lunch, try their Turkey and Havarti Bagel Sandwich.
Salad and fruit bar for when you’re looking to eat healthy. They charge by the weight, so have your stomach remind your eyeballs it has limitations!
Enjoy a stroll around the pond or through the woods. If you pop over around dusk or dawn, then you’re likely to see deer. There is a playground, a little beach area and a water feature to run through on a toasty summer afternoon. They charge $3/vehicle, so carpool with your loved ones. 🙂
Saunter through the gardens.
If you park over by Wells Hall on campus after 6 during the week or anytime on the weekend, you can sashay along the Red Cedar River that cuts through MSU’s campus, visit the Beal Gardens between the library and the Intramural Building (IM Circle), or feed the ducks. If it’s during the week, I believe you can park at the stadium or in the ramp on Grand River that’s nestled between Olin Health Center and the Human Ecology Building. There is also shopping and a mix of restaurants along Grand River Ave, which is the main east-west drag along the north end of campus.
Their Sunday brunch is an absolute delight!
