We met in April 2009, during our junior year of high school through mutual friends. We didn't go to the same school, Robert went to Lakeland, and Lisa went to JFK. We were hanging out together with his friends and my friend at one of their houses, and were talking about how my Sweet 16 was only a few weeks away. I knew Robert and his friends loved to dance, and I thought, why not invite them to my Sweet 16. After only a few weeks of knowing each other, Robert came to my Sweet 16 (and I still have the card he gave me for my birthday <3 - "Turn my Swag On"), and that started our friendship. That summer, we spend a lot of time together, hanging out at each other's pools with our friends, and getting to know each other. Then in early September of 2009, Robert invited me to go to a Yankee game with him and his parents. Robert's neighbor is a cameraman for the Yankees, and we were put on TV together that night! A few weeks later on September 26, 2009, Robert asked me to "officially" be his girlfriend, and 11 years later, we're tying the knot!
We got married! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we got married at Harvest on Hudson on October 15th, 2020 with our immediate family members present.
We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with all of our family & friends at our 1 year anniversary vow renewal & reception!
